Aran and his new mate, Elen, both returned last season on 03 April. After a will-they/won't-they start, Elen laid her first egg on 24 April and the second 3 days later. Two male chicks, 0H1 and 0H2, fledged on 20 and 23 July and were last seen on 05 and 04 September, respectively.

Elen was last seen on 24 August, Aran on 08 September.
A happy ending to a season that had started out so sadly.
May our 2024 season turn out so well.
IMAGICAT
A great zoom of a beautiful Tawny Owl between 19:00-19:03
The movie with a little bit of moving in it
Ooo er. Night sky tres interesting, very many thanks for this vid Scylla. .Most likely all terrestrial whatnots but have to say of the lights moving sideways to us , how can they be aircraft headlights ! Aircraft do have tremendously large and bright headlights. Many is the time I've been driving along the (well I forget the name of the road) near Lyneham which has quite steep ups and downs in it and having been in a dip got a real surprise when a Hercules C130 topped the rise in front of me heading 'home'.
Of course, we all know 'aliens' exist - er hem. Right?
Wonderful video of the beautiful owl
Super vids, Scylla, thank you
Whatever is this behind the nano-island BtB (Beyond the Bridge)?
Our 2024 volunteers:
The video was so jumpy ... possibly a duck but very peculiar !

Yes, as if it had been speared by a crooked twiggy branch
Hopefully it will be seen again!

No change to the cam situation, not a lot of wildlife to capture - here were Starlings, I think:
A little non-event...so's we don't get relegated to page 2
I don't know if this cam can turn to capture any of the nest - what if one o' them Dyfi boys pays a visit? Or Elen turns up eary? We don't know how long she was in the UK last season before appearing at Glaslyn.
