Dibnlib - Before Christmas OG told us she wasn’t going to come in here at least for a while as she never had anything interesting to tell us. (I think some of us had talked about meals out and days out or holidays) Actually, I always found her contributions very interesting.

Sorry I've been AWOL. Busy day.

We didn't have any problems with the storms except a few buckets rolling around the garden.

The Awful Cousin has been in touch with other members of the family recently, and unbelievably, rang us tonight to say that she is coming over here from Canada in September!!!

Very strange day. It rained and rained. We had 35 mm at Airport (nearby). Still quite warm, max 24 C. Whatever happened to our DRY summer? Tonight’s Aussie Day celebrations & fireworks by the River Torrens cancelled; lawns will be soggy for tomorrow’s events.

Can I wish you a Happy Australia Day, then, AQ?!
