I heard from a friend of mine this afternoon . He is staying in Blakeney, and he knows of my love of osprey.
He said "We are in Blakeney and have just seen an osprey on the marsh between Blakeney and Cley. It was perched on top of a cut-back willow tree, but at one point took off and wheeled around, displaying the under-wing markings, confirming its identity"
I can't verify his bird ID tho. He sent the email at 16.51 today
