Continuing THOMO's LG feeder, and including other cams as per title.
First, some LG feeder snaps & vids from the past couple of days.
Female & male GSWs, joined up by trickery - you may notice that the peanut tube is misshapen
Nasty Great Coal Tit:
No trickery for the 2 Blue Tits:
Now for the torture - I just cannot figure out Greenfinch or female Chaffinch:
This was in flight so has had to be sharpened a lot:
Little vid:
No mistaking the evening Crestie!

scylla said:Do you remember the Osprey feeding its fledgling on a "boom" (or somesuch structure) at the World Athletics Championships in 2021 in LA(?), and I posted a BBC clip...
I don't remember seeing that Scylla, are you able to post the link again?
WendyBartter said:are you able to post the link again?
Only just, Wendy, cos I couldn't remember the title nor the playlist it was in, at first - and it was in Oregon, not LA
It's a short clip, YouTube took some of it off but I couldn't tell what.
Ospreys at the World Athletics Championships
I certainly remember it Scylla and thank you for finding and posting the link. A short but wonderful video
I had some stuff in here awaiting posting but had a crash and can't recover whatever it was. I'm in lots of trouble because my battery has died so now, if the power supply comes loose, which it often does, the laptop shuts down
Mojave
They chopped a pumpkin in half and the ground squirrels, or one in particular, loved it:
Another enjoyable session for the Coooper's Hawk - I'm told that it was the wind that caused its ovrbalancing:
Brief encounter - Bobcat and Coyote:
The Bobcat managed to catch 3 small mice (except I was told later that it was 4) - what a way to have to spend your life, constantly striving, like all god's creatures apart from most of us
More Bob 2 nights ago! He (I think they know it's a male) has ben around a lot lately and has been in again tonight but eventually it gets a bit samey )
Got a new battery in my laptop this morning (Bro put it in for me as I can't do screws), plus a new power supply that (hopefully) won't keep falling out of its socket - I might put a Q in Tech Test if I get around to it. Anyway, all is working and Dell didn't complain that it's not a Dell battery, which some reviewers of some third-party batteries reported on Amazon.
And what's more - yay! Rainbow Lorikeets at last. Not brilliant views tho.
And the same morning as the first Lorikeet but earlier - the resolution is so poor I can't make out if this was a Boobook Owl or another, but I don't know any other Oz owls that frequent this nest:
EDIT
Just noticed that Glaslyn had gone down - checked, found that it was up again, together with the other cam - let's hope they can run the two stably.
EDIT2
Sulphur-crested Cockatoos!
Did resemble a Boobook Scylla, a falconer friend had one in his collection but I would have to trawl through several external HD's to find the pics ... one day! Hope new battery & power supply cure your problems!

What did I tell ya? Both cams went down, only the nest cam is back up at the mo. However, we mustn't be smug:
WendyBartter said:I would have to trawl through several external HD's to find the pics ... one day!
Aww, WENDY, I know you're busy - tomorrow will do
Seriously, tho - the Boobook has been a frequent visitor over the years and has been quite aggressive - but I've never seen a decent close-up so it's hard to compare it with online photos.
WendyBartter said:The Boobook I knew was really soppy, used to cuddle up to the falconer and nibble his beard!
Sweeeet! I think the Oz one was probably being territorial - you know how our corvids are when the Ospreys intrude for the spring & summer months.
Talking of sweet - a sugared almond birdie paid a short early-morning visit
.
GALAH is pronounced (kinda) gull-aah
Do you remember sugared almonds? Do they still exist? (I know the comparison is stretching it a bit.)
Yes they do still exist - and even Fortnum's sell them... at a price
