HAPPY NEW WEEK!
Everyone have a good week. Enjoy the last vestiges of summer! (Winter for AQ.)
Happy Labor Day to Annette and bjane.
Heather B said:Had a discussion with youngest daughter. She suggested that as well as making lists, we take and print photos of ' my stuff '.
She's got her head screwed on. Never underestimate the ability of family members to become grasping once you're gone. I sincerely hope that doesn't happen in yours.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Evening, Clare. My OH is booked for his flu jab in about a fortnight, but has only been offered a shingles jab at the same time. Don't know when they'll offer me either, as I come into the next category after him. Nor do either of us have any idea if we'll be offered a covid jab, if at all. But of course you and Limpy are quite rightly, priority. Dibnlib - I 've got everything crossed that your long wait for an end to this, comes soon. Annette - You sound tired and you've had such a busy time. Take care. It's been another odd day -- after a warm and oppressive morning, the sun came out after lunch and it got hotter again. I was pleased to see my OH return as he'd been out playing golf at another course. He was hot and tired as they'd played the whole 18 holes which he reckons is about 5 miles. I made him a mug of tea and he sat in the garden for a couple of hours. He hasn't done anything to the new door today, although I expect he was intending to. It needs a handle putting on it, and painting to match all the other doors.
