  • Wednesday 12 July

Good morning Grinning Last night LM6 was only on the nest until just after 01.00.

    01.06 She was sleeping peacefully

When a chick’s wing suddenly outstretched and hit LM6 on the head.

LM6 must’ve got a fright. She woke up straight away, sorted herself out then flew off a couple of minutes later.

LJ2 had woken up too and watched her fly off. He settled back down again and stayed until 03.32

It looks like LM6 spent the night on the preening perch and LJ2 joined her there when he left the nest. The images were very grainy

buu as soon as some light appeared, the shape of an Osprey was there, joined by another at 03.32.

The PTZ clock has been amended and is now in sinc, showing current times. Raised hands

    LJ2 scratching his head.

The chicks home alone but being watched from next door!

  • 05.41 LJ2 arrives at the nest with a freshly caught fish.

LJ2 was heard calling from the preening perch and joined LJ2 straight away.

There are just a few seconds of difference between the PTZ and nest cameras’ clocks.

    LM6 fed the chicks.

10.29 chicks withdrawn, LM6 still eating. The weather has changed for the worse.

11.04 and it’s brighter again. LM6 takes the final piece from her talons and swallows it.

    14.33 She’s still there

    LM6 stayed until 15.56
