Laddie had a record breaking fish day on the 15th June, when he brought ELEVEN of them to the nest for NC0 and the chicks to dine on - amazing!
As the two chicks grew, it was clearly obvious - with the difference in size - that #1 was a female and #2 a male, this being confirmed at their ringing on the 22nd June.
NC0 began fishing for the first time this season on the 30th June, with TWO successful catches in one day. Hopefully, both she and Laddie will continue to bring plenty of fish for their growing youngsters to enjoy in a now, harmonious manner.

Poor things, it’s what hunger does to you.
I wonder why Laddie’s recent fish have been so small? Might he be carrying an injury?

A rather long post on LotL Fb
I thought today's female intruder had a blue ring on her left leg (ie Scottish). I suppose Lowes would have had a much clearer view of it after studying the footage
20:32 PF4, on the perch, she had been fish calling on the nest. PF5 has been on the birch for a while. Is there another bird on on top of the branch to the top left of PF5? He was fish calling when his sister was

PF4 left the perch at 21:55 and landed on a low branch of the birch (orange). PF5 still on his branch (red)

Hear, hear!
It's been an awful day for software crashes - I got 09:50-15:50 downloaded and some more from YT rollback - I haven't been able to ID individuals, but at least it's something from this unusual day for posterity:
