Laddie had a record breaking fish day on the 15th June, when he brought ELEVEN of them to the nest for NC0 and the chicks to dine on - amazing!
As the two chicks grew, it was clearly obvious - with the difference in size - that #1 was a female and #2 a male, this being confirmed at their ringing on the 22nd June.
NC0 began fishing for the first time this season on the 30th June, with TWO successful catches in one day. Hopefully, both she and Laddie will continue to bring plenty of fish for their growing youngsters to enjoy in a now, harmonious manner.

Unfortunately, due to technical issues the live webstream of the osprey nest is not working. We hope it will be back by tomorrow. Apologies.

Just in time to see Laddie deliver a small fish to PF5 at 16:58
PF5 was screeching as he landed on the nest, Laddie was following immediately behind him
PF5 picked it up from the nest
There was chipping in the distance, PF5 defending or letting everyone in the area know that the fish was his?!
Tucking in

Yeah Brilliant Sandra - PF5 needs to learn to fly with his fish to somewhere PF4 cannot get at it.

Too right, Mary! lol
At 17:07, PF4 arrived
PF5 quickly swallowed the remainder of his fish!
17:11 PF4 found a tail end of fish, one from this morning perhaps?
She stood on it
PF5 had no problem taking it from her!
PF5 eating again
PF5 walked away from the fish tail at 17:16ish. A couple of minutes later, PF4 tried to tackle it
She gave up and left it on the nest. PF5 then had another go! lol (17:28ish)
Probably too tough to tackle, PF5 walked away from the fish tail at 17:35

Yes, and in 2021 as well. I remember her that year coming back, after a couple of days away, with half of a huge salmon for LR1 and LR2. Hoping she makes an appearance soon, if she hadn't already today when the cam was offline.
There have been no further fish deliveries.
It's been ENS since 22:00 when PF5 left the perch, and flew off low around the corner of the birch. Unsure if there was an Osprey (or 2?) on the birch or not
There was definitely one roosting there just prior to night cam coming on at 22:55
Just pleased to know that both PF4 and PF5 have eaten today. Let's hope for another early fish in the morning.
Morning All,
8:07 PF5, left, and PF4 still waiting for breakfish to be served (taken mid-preening)
Hopefully, not too long to wait.

Laddie delivered a good-sized fish at 8:57. PF5 had left the nest moments before the delivery so PF4 was alone on the nest at the time
PF5 came screaming back to the nest
There was a scramble for the fish
PF5 was warned off
PF4 took the fish
After almost an hour of eating, PF4 swallowed the fish tail at 9:54
There have been no more fish deliveries. No sighting of NC0
13:07 PF5 on the perch and I assume, PF4 on the birch
