Laddie had a record breaking fish day on the 15th June, when he brought ELEVEN of them to the nest for NC0 and the chicks to dine on - amazing!
As the two chicks grew, it was clearly obvious - with the difference in size - that #1 was a female and #2 a male, this being confirmed at their ringing on the 22nd June.
NC0 began fishing for the first time this season on the 30th June, with TWO successful catches in one day. Hopefully, both she and Laddie will continue to bring plenty of fish for their growing youngsters to enjoy in a now, harmonious manner.

I’ll cross with you Sandra for mum and dad to make an early appearance with fish tomorrow.
0620 and someone eating on nest
Richard B
There was a fish @ about 05:30 - hastily recorded from rollback, I haven't studied it yet:
EDIT - Forgot to say, sibling came in afterwards and waited grumpily, not sure what happened next.
EDIT2 - Best I can do! I think it was Laddie:

I haven't been recording since one cam outage too many! I've started it off again now, let's hope it comes in useful.
Morning Glider, Richard, Scylla and All,
Thanks both. Yes, a fab, headless fsh from Laddie which was claimed by PF5. PF4 came to the nest and took it from him after showing physical aggression and tugging at it.
PF5 did his best to shield the fish from her
PF4 grabbed hold of the fish and tugged at it while it was still in PF5's talons
She continued to pull at it (on the right here)
The fish was left on the nest as she dragged him over to the left side
PF4 attacked him
PF5 hastily walked away
PF4 picked up the fish
She was still eating at 7:00

7:38 PF5 is still waiting!
7:42 He stole it from her! Well done PF5! Edit: Oooh, I thought he had it at the time but her talons were still attached
Was an intruder around? PF4 became very defensive briefly
The fish was still in PF4's talons. PF5 was tugging to get the fish
As they pulled away, the fish dropped onto the nest
He picked it up from the nest where it had dropped, eating at last!
8:10 Continuing to eat his breakfish and thoroughly enjoying it judging by the sounds he is making!. PF4 on the birch (she flew off over there at 7:50ish)
Off to work. BFN
Hmm, the webcam went offline BUT, due to having my laptop on 'sleep', I have been able to capture some action...a feast of a morning for PF5! No times to give, unfortunately.
He was holding this much fish in his beak...
But dropped it onto the nest as Laddie was approaching with a WHOPPER! It appeared to be partially de-headed
PF4 came to the nest but did not try to take it from him.
In the 40 or so minutes she was on the nest, in that same position on the left, she didn't see the remains of the earlier fish.
PF5 stopped eating around an hour and a half, or more, later!
Seven or so minutes after PF5 had finished his meal, PF4 arrived (she landed on the nest perch initially). She headed onto the nest and found the remaining fish and tucked in!
That's all I could get before the LS went offline.
