Laddie had a record breaking fish day on the 15th June, when he brought ELEVEN of them to the nest for NC0 and the chicks to dine on - amazing!
As the two chicks grew, it was clearly obvious - with the difference in size - that #1 was a female and #2 a male, this being confirmed at their ringing on the 22nd June.
NC0 began fishing for the first time this season on the 30th June, with TWO successful catches in one day. Hopefully, both she and Laddie will continue to bring plenty of fish for their growing youngsters to enjoy in a now, harmonious manner.

Luckily, PF5 had something to eat from Laddie's fish, Wendy!
12:33 PF4 finished eating, side stepped to the left to reveal the remainder of the fish
NC0 and PF5 headed over to the fish
There was a very nifty take from PF5
Tucking in
At 13:01, he was down to the fish tail itself - he found this a struggle to swallow after trying several times
At 13:07, it could be seen on the nest
PF5 was seen attempting it again at 14:17 after jumping down from the cam post
Success at 14:20

I haven't found anymore fish being brought to the nest.
At 16:31, PF5 misjudged his landing onto the nest from the cam post
He managed to right himself, thankfully!
He is still on the nest at present, 17:10. Unsure who is sitting on the birch

Always makes me smile when they make their first sortie!
Hi Korky, always in anticipation though waiting for them to land back safely!
A fabulous fish from Laddie at 18:33. PF5 was alone on the nest to receive it!
Laddie released his grip of the fish and flew off
PF4 came to the nest and attempted to steal the fish
Oh, the noise!
PF5 was in no mood to give up his meal
PF4 retreated
Laddie with another cracking fish at 18:59 - PF4 quickly took it from Laddie. PF5 was enjoying his meal
Laddie flew off, was it because NC0's dulcet tones could be heard? lol
PF4 and PF5 began to shout
NC0 arrived
