Laddie had a record breaking fish day on the 15th June, when he brought ELEVEN of them to the nest for NC0 and the chicks to dine on - amazing!
As the two chicks grew, it was clearly obvious - with the difference in size - that #1 was a female and #2 a male, this being confirmed at their ringing on the 22nd June.
NC0 began fishing for the first time this season on the 30th June, with TWO successful catches in one day. Hopefully, both she and Laddie will continue to bring plenty of fish for their growing youngsters to enjoy in a now, harmonious manner.

16:30 NC0 is currently on the birch after leaving the nest 10 minutes ago
©SWT/LotL
16:40 NC0 had left the birch and could be seen flying from beyond it, to the nest, with a stick!
There was a successful dive from the birch by NC0 at 18:00
Splash!
Out of the water
A flight over the Loch
She veered round to head to the nest
PF4 attempted to take it
There was a battle of the fish between the pair of them...
...NC0 won! PF4 was extremely close to the edge of the nest!
She managed to stay on!
Dual feeding
While the feed was in progress, Laddie arrived with a delivery of his own at 18:12
He had to hover over NC0 to land on the right side of the nest
NC0 was quick to take it from him
Laddie left the nest
PF4, right, and PF5 tracked him
A close up of Laddie's fish with a fan-like fin on its back
The discarded end (just some skin?) of NC0's fish that she was feeding PF4 and PF5 from
Dual feeding once again
Then a private feed for PF5
Richard B
Thanks for the confirmation, Richard. I had an inkling it was due to the orange lower fin but didn't like to say! lol
There was a headless fish delivery from Laddie at 22:42
He flew from low from beyond the birch area
NC0 began to shout as he reached over the far right of the Loch. She left the cam post (apologies for the blurred evening pics)
She turned
And headed back to the nest - Laddie's wing on the right
He landed a second before NC0
Off he went
Both received a good feed
23:00 NC0 tucking in to the tail end of the fish
Swallowing the fish tail moments after

All three sleeping, 00:08
Morning Richard and All,
Wow, it was a great size too! Thank you.
PF4 and PF5 were unaware of NC0's approach until she landed, making contact calls as she did so
The fish lasted the three of them for 20 minutes. NC0 tidying up here
NC0 with a large stick, 8:23
Luckily, the stick was in the gap between PF4 and PF5 as she landed
