The liaison of Aran with a new female, Elen, taking over from much-mourned MrsG, has been almost seamless.
They have laid 2 eggs, the first of which hatched @ 01:38 on 31 May. It's been fairly subdued so far, but here were a lively few moments:

There have been five fish today so far, but two of them were Sea Trout, two Brown Trout and the first was a Grey Mullet.

This morning that scene was repeated
The chicks are not yet in the dinosaur phase.

Breakfish - Aran is watching from the perch having been blocking our view for a while:
There has been plenty of fish so I'm fed up with Elen. I know, I know. Somehow they all grow up. Thankfully . Thank you Scylla
