LJ2 stayed on the eggs until 08.05 when he decided to leave.
Just over a minute later, LM6 returned to the nest with the tail end of the fish.
She was soon joined by LJ2 who wanted the fish. LM6 (right) was reluctant to pass it over and pecked at LJ2.
LJ2 was persistent though and managed to get the fish and flew off with it.
He did return later to do incubation duties.
LM6 got preening time.
Then LJ2 returned later again, at 15.04 with a good sized headless fish.
LM6 flew off with it and LJ2 took over incubation.
LJ2 sat until 17.03 then flew off.
A minute later, LM6 arrived with her fish. She walked across the nest, ate a couple of pieces then made a couple of contact calls and flew off again.
LJ2 returned soon after to resume his duties.
18.31 LM6 returned with the fish. LJ2 gets up to receive it.
LJ2 flies off with the fish and LM6 settles down on the eggs.
19.48 LM6 is currently still incubating.
LM6 stayed on the nest for the rest of the evening. Night cam came on around 22.10.
LJ2 flew to the perch 22.23.
It’s been a far better day today for the ospreys.
Wednesday 24th May
Good morning LJ2 stayed on the perch the whole night. 04.06 LM6 got up off the eggs and flew off.
LJ2 flew over to the nest
and took over incubation.
04.08 LM6 flew onto the perch, LJ2 stayed on the eggs.
LM6 left the perch at 04.20 day cam came on at 04.22 with LJ2 sitting incubating.
LM6 flew to the preening perch
and dropped a small wing feather.
05.55 LJ2 flew off the nest and LM6 quickly returned to take over incubation.
LJ2 helped out during the morning
LM6 was quite chilled
14.18 LJ2 flew on with a headless fish.
LM6 had her bill in the fish’s body as she fixed her grip
once secure, LM6 flew with the fish.

15,34 LJ2 flew off the nest
A minute later, LM6 flew back with the tail end of her fish.
She left her fish at the side of the nest and settled down to incubate.
17.58 LJ2 flew onto the nest with a chunk of bark.
He spied the fish but held onto the bark and flew off only to return moments later with the bark, hover and leave again. LM6 was calling.
LJ2 then returned a third time, dropped the bark and took the fish.
After a few minutes, sky dancing could be heard. LM6 started chipping and looking upwards.
The sky dancing soon stopped. LM6 continued chipping. Gradually she stopped but then would start again. This happened until just after 18.30.
She then got up and rolled her eggs.
She has since been quiet. (19.13 current time)
LJ2 rested on the preening perch with his fish tail for 10 minutes, leaving 19.12.
