Good morning Grinning LM6 had a peaceful night. Took her quick comfort break at 02.37.

Day cam came on at 04.45. LM6 Corvid watching.

LJ2 came to relieve LM6 a bit later than usual at 05.40

JJ2 had been on the preening perch prior to this.

LM6 went to have a good freshen up on the preening perch. (No RF pics to follow at some point) Fingers crossed

  • No RF again. (photos edited in)

LJ2 has done a lot of the incubation today allowing LM6 to do a lot of preening.

LM6 has looked a bit sleepy on the nest

LJ2 has been feeling a bit warm

Approximately around 16.45, in the distance, LJ2 arrived at a tree post in front of the nest. He had a fish and started preparing it for LM6. A couple of corvids discovered him and bombed him off the post and gave chase.

16.52 he flew by the nest holding his fish with the corvids in pursuit.

Once he shook the corvids off, he returned to a different tree post to resume eating the fish. LM6 was able to see him from the nest and she began fish calling.

18.17 LJ2 arrived at the nest with the headless fish for LM6.

  • 19.35 LM6 returned to the nest, having eaten all of the fish.

LJ2 left and LM6 went over to the eggs.

After just over an hour of LM6 incubating, LJ2 returned at 20.44
