.
After a start/stoppy kinda season, we now have settled couple "URM" (until LG give him a name) and Asha, or Mistle as some would prefer.
Asha is the proud parent of 2 eggs, the father of which being dubious but probably URM, as we hardly saw NN2 (for whom we wish all the best elsewhere) be accepted by Asha.
URM and Asha are similarly marked but distinguishable by certain differences which I may slot in here but I've lost them for the time being.
Asha (R) is looking rather small in this snap because she's crestfallen due to no supper:
Because Asha did so much work on the nest before she had a partner, there hasn't been a lot for URM to do - but he has quite frequently brought in nest material - and his fish provisions have been regular and willingly handed over. He's a promising Osprey dad so far.
IMAGICAT
But Asha has had to fly back with her fish because there's an INTRUDER !!!
I think Brodie has gone chasing...
Asha is eating on the nest.
Oh what a shame, more discuption just as Brodie was getting back into his stride.
GR ..........EAT news .Thanks Scylla
This is really good news. Thanks Ailie
Fish delivery and intruder episode - and it looks as tho Brodie plucked some feathers, let's hope he's deterred whoever it was for good!
Only one clip from PTZ because the sound took so long to do.
He has feathers afoot!
Asha ate her fish in bits and pieces, now seems to be incubating peacefully, we hope, but looking around interestedly.
EDIT - forgot snaps:
Intruder was blue-ringed:

Another intruder episode - Asha slapped Brodie again, I wonder why she appears to get annoyed with him when he's defending on the nest? "Go chase!" ???
I haven't found Brodie since, up to 19:10.
Asha's second stick, the first was spindly:

I found it a bit closer later but I've lost both instances !!! Here's Asha suffering an intruder flyover before she settled for the night:
Asha's first break was around 03:15, then she was gone for 5+ minutes @ 03:38...
Now Brodie is in defending, I've just seen him on the zoomed-in PTZ view on another screen so will have to check back from the downoad in a minute.
Looks like the emergency is past but Brodie is still on the nest.
