NC0 surprised us all when she arrived back at Lowes first, with Laddie making his initial landing exactly 6 hours later. She laid her three beautiful eggs after almost near-perfect, precise intervals of 72 hours between each one. Both Laddie and NC0 have regularly exchanged incubation duties and have been very attentive to protect their eggs, and nest, from multiple intrusions during April. The hatching window will open around the 10th May, all being well.

It's been raining and sounds like it still is. NC0's been sitting tight on the eggs. I haven't seen Laddie and judging by the lack of vocalisation from NC0, she hasn't either (Edit: see post below). Let's hope he makes an appearance soon

The last time I can find Laddie at the nest, on scroll back, was when he landed at 10:53ish - he was quite intent in silently looking around
He chipped a couple of times before flying off at 10:55ish
NC0 went off for a quick comfort break at 21:56. She gave her wings a good flap before leaving
She returned less than a minute later
Night cam came on at 22:03
There wasn't a clear view of the eggs as she rolled them and then changed her position at 22:16
22:25 NC0 was sleeping but a single barn owl screech disturbed her
Morning ALL and thanks Sandra for all the updates
just looked in on the nest just now and NCO had risen for a stretch then quickly back down on the eggs
Few captures

Good morning Karen and All,
Thank you!
The last zoomed view of the eggs at 4:55ish (eggs 1 & 2 at the front)
This as she rolled them before settling to incubate
Laddie hasn't been to the nest.
I'm unsure as to what yesterday's pic at 10:35 was, it did look like a hole in the egg? Unless it was one of her feathers on it to make it appear that way
7:53 NC0, currently looking around quietly
We are more impatient than the Ospreys ha ha..... I thought I seen the start of a pip yesterday morning when they had zoomed in but couldn't get as good a screenshot this morning to see if any changes.
Looks like we will have to be patient and wait until we see a wee beak peak through

Nothing as yet - and rightly so, the little one is obviously waiting on Sandra
