NC0 surprised us all when she arrived back at Lowes first, with Laddie making his initial landing exactly 6 hours later. She laid her three beautiful eggs after almost near-perfect, precise intervals of 72 hours between each one. Both Laddie and NC0 have regularly exchanged incubation duties and have been very attentive to protect their eggs, and nest, from multiple intrusions during April. The hatching window will open around the 10th May, all being well.

Laddie brought it back at 19:08 for NC0 to begin another feeding session. Both chicks looked very well fed already - #1 was up for some more!
#2 said yes please too, bless it!
Laddie left the nest at 19:13
NC0 fed #1 some more; #2 had eaten its fill and had a lovely-sized crop!
NC0 discarded the fish and flew off for a comfort break at 19:17
#1 lay down between #2 and the egg
NC0 could be seen flying around behind the nest before rejoining her little ones

Lol, Laddie was back for the fish again at 19:36
Another meal for him too!
21:00 NC0 rose from the chicks and called loudly
She moved to the back of the nest
She went off for a comfort break
It wasn't long before she returned
NC0 continued to call
Laddie came to the nest at 21:11, he didn't have any of the fish with him. NC0 was still calling
He headed off to roost at 21:13
Laddie disappeared around the corner
The cam zoomed in just before night cam came on at 22:11 - one of the babes could just be seen peeking out in front of NC0

This one today
Second osprey chick hatching 16 May 23
It took a while! lol. You're very welcome Yes, I really hope so, Glider, just need Laddie to keep bringing in a good supply of fish - plenty of feeds from today's large one, not only for the chicks but both NCO and Laddie too, just wonderful.
IMAGICAT
Just check out that loch, so still

Morning Scylla, Richard and All,
A lovely capture, Richard, and as you say, the Loch was, and still is, perfectly still.
I took these from scroll back at 02:00 when NC0 went off on a comfort break. Egg #1 is at 44 days since being laid. Debris on it or could there have possibly been an attempt to hatch out?
7:58 NC0 quietly brooding
