last night at 19:44 33 arrived with a large live pike -

What I don't understand about the events last night..
33 first brought a/the pike at 19.20,  and it was alive then..
Then returns almost 25 minutes later with a living pike..
Is it possible for a pike to live that long outside the water.. or is this a new one??

  • Morning Bart - in truth I don't know but I would think by the thrashing that 33 had dropped the first and caught another

  • 33 brought a live pike again..
he really did his best to contain it until it was dead... but to no avail..
He chased it , stepped on it.. and eventually left with it.. the kids are okay (and used to it by now)

  • This one is fun too..
I rellay love this phase, when the kids are expanding their view and get a look over the nest edge..

2 even triangulating.. they are very interested in the swans I guess..

  • Really nice feed once 33 brought back the (now really) dead pike.

Warning though: Crop about to explode!!

  • Oh, why doesn't he just eat the head ! off nest 33 - got it ?

Thank you Bart especially for the 'kids ok' bit

  • Early breakfish by Blue 33

This will do nicely for second breakfast for the kids.

#1 was a bit grumpy at the first feed (just a tiny bit, first feed went very well afterwards), but a bit of fresh fish is always nice
