  • Morning All and thank you for the updates.
Sorry to hear your poorly Karen yes get tucked in and get better soon.
It is so sad that little chick 4 wasn't strong enough to pull through bless him.
  • With a bit of animation:

Loved 3's reaction.. floppy fish.. Duck!!.. It's a smart kid!

Look at the before ⇑ and after ⇓ picture of 2's crop!! It's almost bursting

  • Hello everyone, so sad about little Bob 4. Whatever happend we will never know, but as Glider said, mum and dad have 3 healthy, fiiesty other Bob's to look after. Nature is so cruel and sad to see at times. My goodness the little ones sure grow, little wonder with the amount they eat!!

Hope you feel better soon Karen.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

  • Sad news re the 4th chick. I also noticed that 33 was at the River Gwash fish farm yesterday but was chased away by T7 without a catch
  • Well... this scared the living daylights out of me!!
Got back.. checked in and saw...

    A completely empty nest!!

Oh my... they're good at hiding (they're all okay ofcourse)

  • An unringed female lands on the nest, twice!, during a feed

  • Good morning!
A very good breakfast for #3 this morning (it was in front).
In the video I sped up most of the feed, and you can see 3's crop growing, until it is totally satisfied and crawls away.. 2 didn't get much this feed, but had huge feeds yesterday

  • Great stuff Bart - loved the video watching  #3 crop bulge out- it's so good never needing to be chary of watching   this nest  (the older I get the more 'sensitive ' I seem to have become in regards to sadness on the nests , not helped of course by loss elsewhere here and in my personal life)j. Thank you very much.
