11:00 Another top up
close up
the little one is getting its fish too :-)
12:29 Maya watching over the chicks are they enjoy some warm, fresh air
33 arrives, something bothering him but threat passes quickly. Spends some time on the nest
12:14 Chick #1 looks to dad for fish!
oh dear - #1 is having a go at #2
dad makes his way round and it stops lol
be good if 33 can keep order especially with another little one expected
A bit of a strange situation:The kids are eating.. and it's been hot all day, too hot for maya to brood all the time, so she takes some time off the chick to provide some shade and cool wind..However during the 11 am feed you can see #3 panting heavily and it collapses to the side (and getting up real quick). Is it weakness still for the new born, or is it a bit too hot for it yet?
#2 started on #1 and came of the worse and poor little #3 ends up getting a head butting too
And Maya settles down on top of them - that'll stop it.
