A little incident caught my attention - I'm sure there were much more dramatic scenes during the day.

a few observations for june 29. observations are my own unless marked with an *

7:54:50 one decides to pick up something and toss it in the air. repeat, repeat. like a kid playing ball.

9:02 to 9:03 having quite got the coordination let to flap those wings and not fall over. fun to watch.

*senna 1965: ​13.59.31 Mum in with lunch. Feeding chicks.

*mccann: ​16:31 food

*Lockhart Horsburgh: ​A bit of experimental chewing on a twig at 19:21

19:25-19:30 wingercizing. falling over. a few hops. fun to watch

*MJ: ​21:03:30 A lot of experimental nibling on other siblings. Lasts about 14 mins until it falls asleep

*MJ: ​22:17:58 Squirrel feeding time

Thank you, CANUCK   I've just been thru my scraps for the past couple of techly troubled days, they do all appear to be doing well, no scary scraps of the bloody kind.

the kids have a fun time with a piece of bark mom drops off. goes on for about 10 min. and lots of stretching and flapping and falling in the middle of it all.

Sheer coincidence I did this in my sleep last night, but that should tell you (if you were reading this, which you're not cos your on your hols having a wonderful time, I hope, unless you're still travelling, ugh!) that it's not exactly going to win an Oscar - I just wanted to show their development, then a clip from the next evening, nothing happening:

I had a crash so lots of hours missing - then I have to rest the downloader for several hours, it's been going 40+ minutes and all 3 were lying down until the last 2 mins when they started to stir themselves - all looking fine.

Afternoon - they're growing up fast!  Mama came in a bit later and fed them - Dad usually drops off prey and flees
