Brief history of Manton Bay:
The nest was first occupied by White 08(97) and Green 5N(04) in 2007 who raised 2 chicks. In 2008 they paired again but the nest failed and in 2009 it was unused. In 2010 a new pair, Green 5R(04) and an unringed female nicknamed Mrs 5R, took up residence and over the next four years raised 11 chicks. Green 5R(04) failed to return in 2014 and Mrs 5R paired with a new mate, Blue 28(10) and laid 3 eggs. Blue 33(11) arrived determined to claim this nest and evicted Blue 28(10). Blue 33(11) kicked out the eggs and spent the remainder of the season bonding with Mrs 5R who was then officially named “Maya”. Since 2015, Maya and Blue 33(11) have returned reuniting their partnership and to date have successfully raised 23 chicks.

Here’s wishing Maya and Blue 33(11) a safe journey home and for another successful season.
How oblivious can one be?! The little ROP cam I've got on a screen had frozen on empty nest, and I was doodling thru Leighton Moss and running grey water thru my taps after a long water cut-off...
Oh joy! Thank you for the reports and snaps, everyone
IMAGICAT
That gull was annoying him so I guess he flew to a tree to enjoy his fish dinner in peace.
Thank you once again Scylla , great snap in the oval ethereal frame But yes, there is sound on this cam although it comes and goes on your video. I had sound all afternoon and could hear 33 chuntering at the gull

*Sigh*
I think you'll find you were hearing the WIDE cam, Cirrus - turn it off and try the NON-WIDE.
If I'm wrong I'll just be humiliated yet again
Blue33 has just landed again.
EDIT - He didn't stay long, flew off after a feak.
lovely capture of 33, SCYLLA
33 still on the nest and making a start
Oh well, in which case I'll only watch this nest on the one I took my snap from. However. I only had YouTube on when I watched your video so I don't understand why some of it had sound.

Because I included clips from both cams (((Cirrus))), according to which I thought gave the better view - I shouldn't have bothered really but hey-ho.
Welcome home Blue 33, he is looking really good, so lovely to see him home safely, all we need now is Maya. He has been busy and removed the 2 big sticks from the middle of the nest and has done some scrapping in the cup, all ready for the eggs.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
