After the tragedy of 2021, the 2022 Season was a great success, with 3 beautiful youngsters fledging and migrating - Blue 497, 498 and 499 (courtesy of Glider):
Here's to the safe return of our precious pair, MrsG (thank you MaryGK for the original snap) and Aran:

Today, this year's indispensable volunteers gathered to give us a Group Wave, and I thought we should pay tribute to them here:
(How sparse this seems for a season OP - but it's all I've got to give. I think we need the new thread sooner rather than later, being mindful of the likelihood of Dovey Devils and/or Clywedog Kids swooping in )

Webcam is back up. They are clearly having a lot of problems - possibly after the high water levels?? It started 16 minutes ago.

Looks like an Osprey on Pont Croesor nest! Very blurry image though...
Edit: Shape now looks more like a Buzzard with more white than usual... Excited there for a while

Yep - never mind
This is just for the record - I wonder if a new cam problem is the black screen when going into and out of zoom mode? That could mean Heather completely misses brief stopovers on the perch
Several days ago I asked on Chat about the nightcam glare this season - I waited as long as I could but didn't get a response (Heather had only just been posting) - and when I eventually went back, Chat had moved on and no response to the topic was visible.
As you know, I'm not one to complain about anything but why-oh-why has the cam deteriorated this year - what with the stripes-on-zoom, too? Heather must be so frustrated, she puts in more effort than anyone on any of the cams.
