After the tragedy of 2021, the 2022 Season was a great success, with 3 beautiful youngsters fledging and migrating - Blue 497, 498 and 499 (courtesy of Glider):
Here's to the safe return of our precious pair, MrsG (thank you MaryGK for the original snap) and Aran:

Today, this year's indispensable volunteers gathered to give us a Group Wave, and I thought we should pay tribute to them here:
(How sparse this seems for a season OP - but it's all I've got to give. I think we need the new thread sooner rather than later, being mindful of the likelihood of Dovey Devils and/or Clywedog Kids swooping in )

Thanks for starting off the new thread Scylla, you’ve given everything needed. Beautiful portrait photos. ️ Great to give a shout to the volunteers, all heros.

Here's hoping they all arrive safely. I agree Sheila, it's always a tense time every year awaiting the 'Queen of Glaslyn' to return. Keeping everything crossed!
Thank you, Scylla, for starting this season's OP. What gorgeous portraits of Mrs. G and Aran!
This morning (before Heather came on duty so no zoom) the 2 Stock Doves were joined by a Wood Pigeon!

I've added your "nearly got all 3 of them on the perch" snap (pimped) to the OP, making it look as tho you'd already consented
Thank You Scylla for your fab opening post.
May Mrs.G and Aran both arrive back safely, and that all our other Ospreys do too. Lets hope its a repeat of last year where nearly every Osprey arrived home, all except Loch Insh's female Green DY.

Haha, my pleasure Scylla. Glad you found something you could use.
This morning the Stock Dove couple spent 20? minutes preening on the perch - too early for zoom so I've kept it small, very fuzzy:
Heather is late this morning - still no cam activity (ie, refocusing) by 11:50.
Ducks still here, they left the cam shortly after daycam.
