Daily summary Tuesday 5th September 2023
A beautiful sunrise on Nest One started the day, followed by an interesting visitor to Nest Two - a juvenile Sparrowhawk dropped in with a chirrup and perched on Dorcha's perch. Dyson and a couple of small birds also visited as did the noisy RAF. The nest cams are now switching over with less than 16 hours on day cam, so despite the Indian summer we seem to be having, autumn is on the way and George provides this handy guide: https://www.woodlandtrust.org.uk/blog/2019/08/first-signs-of-autumn/

What a coincidence that I found one (not sure of age) on Asha's perch in the evening - only for a few seconds and the view was not a patch on your gorgeous vid

Aren't they handsome? And another coincidence, one visited on this day in 2020, so it's obviously the time of year when the youngsters start exploring.
Daily summary Wednesday 6th September 2023
Nothing much happened apart from the RAF doing another flypast, but there was plenty of action from this day in previous years due to having female chicks, and of course the whole of Woodland Trust's archive to explore.
