Louis incubating the eggs while Aila is seen flying with a fish in the misty distance on 9th May 2020.
All captures in whatever format are copyright Woodland Trust - with many thanks for allowing captures from their nest cam livestreams
Don't know what made me check thru this - maybe it was the sheer number of files, caused by overnight internet outage and a downloader crash... anyway, I found a lorry thing - I know it's got a proper name but even if I could think of it it would be too many characters for the title, cos it'll be like "horse and cart"... it's "something and trailer" ???

Intriguing, Scylla. It could be a felled tree/log transporter, but I really have no idea.
Probably the mobile venison processor that follows the deer culling team. The forest management team have a refrigerated unit to do on-site butchery so nothing's wasted from the culling. The venison is sold and profits go back into the maintenance fund.
From their press release: "A new drainage system is nearly complete at the deer larder building, which will then help us gain our Scottish Quality Wild Venison certification.
Happy Mother's Day, here's a blast from the past.. Aila with baby Mallie & Rannoch in 2019
David Attenborough's Wild Isles is on tonight, 19.00 GMT BBC1. Tonight's episode is about woodlands, wonder if Arkaig forest will feature?
Little blighter looks as tho he means business :(((

Regretfully, I've stopped monitoring as of now, as I've had a seize-up and need to take some strain off somehow.
But I know you've got both the cams thoroughly covered, GEEMEFF
My final Arkaig snap (until the nest time):

I don't blame you - it needed a movie to expose the spider. I've seen large bits of web floating in and out of the right side of the picture, hope it stays there.
