I attempted to unpick what was happening in the gloom before day cam kicked in. Interesting morning but seems sorted by this afternoon. URF got that early fish as a leaving present, I hope.

Pre-daycam there were about 3 matings on the nest:
CJ7 brought a stick and had to ward off an unseen intruder:
Only half an hour later 022 arrived with a half-eaten fish:
Waited a few minutes and left, no-one seen since.
I'm finding IDs very difficult on this poor-quality cam, but I know I'm not good at it with the best of cams!
What good news . No report of NRF then. mu snap will be CJ7 in nest and although I cannot see ring I pretty sure it's 22 on thin perch
Where would Ospreys fish hereabouts? I've only seen 22 bring in tiddlers
I can only suppose, not very rich fishing grounds. Please tell me I'm wrong
