I have just completed my Quentin Blake jigsaw.  What fun.  Next is a lego kit camper van!!

Oh wow Dibnlib. Fantastic. How many pieces? How long did it take?
French was good. All questions to make us remember things in our past. For example, what hobby did you used to do which you no longer do? We chatted solidly for 2 hours!!! Even through the tea break!!!

1000 pieces and it has taken a while. I rarely sit at a jigsaw for more than an hour. Anyway it was fun. I do love Quentin Blake and have just given a card to a friend who had his 93rd birthday a few days ago.

LOL Heather!! Like the story of your brother. But if he's experiencing really bad reflux, the doctor should be seen, to prescribe an acid inhibiting med. I had it and was told that untreated, the acid which comes up can seriously damage your gullet, and even become cancerous eventually. My OH is now also on meds for this, & feels so much better.

Dibnlib, the artwork of Quentin Blake is so joyous. Last Christmas, my OH and I both chose a very similar card for each other with his fun design on the front.

You're right LINDY and I had already advised my brother to see his doc if the condition persists. My OH had the pre cancerous cells for years ( Barrett's oesophagus) and took the tablets to which you refer.
