Earlier this evening I was sadly informed of the death, on Saturday evening, of the death of our dear Patily.
I hope further tributes will follow, as I'm sure they will.
Ospreys were Patily's obsession and despite her incredible disabilities she visited several centres.
She was one very 'gutsy' lady who I had the privilege of meeting at Rutland.
I am hoping I have more success with this post than the earlier one.
This illustrates the battles she fought.
RIP dear Patily.

Thank you so much, Shari, for the link and details of Patily's funeral service. What an amazingly beautiful blanket you have created, you have so much talent. Many thanks for sharing that as well as Patily's front and back covers of her order of service. Your love of Ospreys shines through in your artwork too - I'm sure Patily would be so proud...
As Sandra says, thank you, Shari, for giving us the details and the link--I intend to log in and watch (if you think any added numbers from this forum will not put the number over150 viewers!) Interesting choice by Pat for donations. I wonder if perhaps she did not want to single out any particular Osprey project to nominate as a recipient since she loved so many sites. Looking at the Water Aid website, it appears that her chosen charity will indirectly benefit Ospreys anyway while at the same time helping people to reduce the amounts of sewage going into the environment, giving both people (and wildlife) cleaner water.
Kind regards, Ann
Thank you so much, SHARON, for taking the trouble to pass on all that info to us - Patily's portrait and the blanket you made are especially lovely
Plus Now I know where her forum name came from:
