Good thinking, RUSTY !
We had a little more snow overnight and the garden is still covered. I've been listening to Radio 4 for a good part of today. I wish that they didn't repeat programmes on the same day.
LYNETTE - I have experiences such as you describe. I find them both comforting and weird. The other night I was quite convinced that my OH was lying in bed beside me.

LINDA – Your views from your window looks like scenes I only see on Christmas cards!

Much cooler weather last few days.

The snow has remained today, only melting a little from the trees as we had a watery bit of winter sun.

I sorted my late brothers papers, as he had left some letters, mostly from girlfriends, of which he had many (!) and there were also some school reports and swimming certificates, etc. One of his friends mentions how exciting it is to hear a new record made by Elvis, called "Are You Lonesome Tonight?!!" It was in1961.

I was 5 years younger, so not interested in music at the time, but I remember my brother playing Elvis at full volume and annoying my mother!

AQ -- Just seen your post-- - I often rush to take a picture before the snow gets spoilt, as it usually begins to melt once the sun comes out plus of course animals, birds and humans walking about can mess it up!

Lindy - I had to laugh at the last line of your post ...

Hi everyone:  Have been busy catching up with stuff but popping in to read posts.  Sorry that unsettling dreams are keeping some of us from getting a good night's sleep. That's not good.

Diane:  I saw a headline about used car prices dropping; hope that will help when you go looking again...

Lindybird:  Lovely snowy shots!

Hope it gets warmer for some and cooler for AQ.

LINDA – Would your brother’s daughters be interested in the school reports & certificates? You could always photo them and email the images.

Good Morning. Suddenly warmer after all the low temps. Just seen tonight's forecast and it will be very cold again, though.

AQ -- I did think of that. I can't send them by post as their postal service is atrocious. Things go mysteriously "missing" when they look as if they contain documents. I've decided to keep a small folder of the most interesting items, although whether they'll ever be of interest to anyone I don't know.

Now it's safer to go out I shall venture to get supplies today. Not been anywhere for an entire week.
