HAPPY NEW WEEK!
I hope everyone has a healthy, joyful week. Next week will be the Winter Solstice already!
I now have several species of birds coming to the outside of my enclosed porch. The red male cardinal tries to chase them off, but there are too many. They're eating the seeds on my "weed tree", various vegetation, and the poor wasps hibernating in their nest.
Sounds a possible, Heather, for it to be Snowdonia. (It could also be our dining room, given the present temps!! :-)) ) I hope that Rusty is having a fab time. I've been doing h'work and checking the local Chr. cards, which we now need to distribute by hand. Less of them every year, as folks move away or fall off their perch sadly. My OH got a small ladder out and spring cleaned our front porch which is quite high inside- it was originally a front entrance, then someone has filled it in with an extra front door. I put a small white chest of drawers in it, to contain all the shopping bags and gloves, umbrellas etc.
I put a china Father Christmas figure in there at this time of year, to welcome visitors. Must get him out from under the stairs soon.
Very relieved to find my Driving Licence, which I had lost, today. It disappeared on our return from holiday, and I've been searching ever since. Today, decided to go into my holiday purse and root around amongst the card slots-- there it was! How I missed it before when looking, I dont know. Anyway, one less thing to worry about.
