I'm unlikely to have a plague of locusts anytime soon but this was a lovely story!

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

Wednesday podiatry happened - and no broken skin and dressings this time. Only one more appt before Christmas!

Nothing much happened Thursday, and just general catching up today - even motivated myself to send email to one of the granddaughters - will do other one tomorrow. OH is doing bits of cleaning and ironing since the cleaners have two Mondays off - this last week and next. One is in Tunisia, the other one was contemplating Yorkshire (her home county).

How long is LINDA away this time?

Hi, thanks for all your news.
Clare - pleased to read that Limpy, Helen, and yourself , are feeling much better. Hope Limpy shakes off the tiredness.
Rusty - glad to read that you are shaking off Covid.
OG - well at least you managed to get out to do some shopping and lunch even if the concert evening out was aborted because of the weather.
Rusty and Lindy - love the photos.

Waiting to hear back from the doctor's re email I sent regarding my OH's treatment in hospital. Not heard anything yet and just tried to ring but it says that the secretaries are only available up to 3.30pm so will try again on Monday.

Not a lot happening down here except Dau is off to her friends in Stevenage after church on Sunday just for a couple of days. Doctors and hospital appointments during half-term next week. I have to book mine with school holidays in mind as I find it difficult to get to appointments in term time as Son and Dau both working.

Looking on FB at one of the bloggers who lives in Scotland and posts pics of his bike rides around the countryside. Always some stunning views.

I have been to Shrewsbury today on the train to meet a friend and have lunch. Our walk in the park was sadly curtailed as it absolutely poured down. I tried to post a photo of the beautiful autumn colours but it said it was too big. When I reduced the size it came out sideways so I gave up!!! I may have a separate try just once more.
