Makov Animal Rescue Station
One of our favourites.
The Pond cam has remained throughout the year, with new-to-us maturing cygnets and fawns still at the bottle-feeding stage:
No table manners !!!
The second cam has been a White Stork nest, which I have not been following during Osprey season. The nest is very close to the ground because the Storks can't fly!
Today I find that the second cam has reverted to the birdie feeder we love - except it's been totally refurbished! (Wish they'd zoom out just a teeny tad.) Improved sound !!! And look who popped in a few seconds after I started the download
This was an incidental I came across on BirdwatchingHQ (you know how he hosts lots of cams unrelated to his own):
"Nocturnal thieves..."
IMAGICAT
Chaffie:
Fluffy-bellied Woodpecker late afternoon - see how cam settings are displaying at the bottom
There's no IR beyond the perch, so we won't be seeing that nocturnal Pine Marten, THOMO - unless he comes close for nuts
MAKOV
GSW makes do with sunflower seeds:

Help! Can this really be a Brambling? I had to work so hard to find it, have never seen one before, AFAIR:
During my search I did a little bird ID quiz on YouTube and did pretty good - the first one to stump me turned out to be... you guessed it... GREENFINCH I also got the Carrion Crow wrong, calling it a Raven cos it seemed to have a hooked beak... *sigh*.
Early evening at the Makov feeder - mainly the Red Squirrel because its fur showed up well and the picture quality has often been disappointing:
Woody wouldn't tolerate any competition on the feeder:

Yippee !!! Thank you, TREVOR !!! All that googling 'n getting lost was worth it
Love the videos , thank you Scylla,. Well done on spotting the Brambling
LG Feeder - not getting a very good picture these days - the Crestie is still visiting.
Makov Feeder - they put whole tomatoes out for...whom? Nobody ate any all day.
This cam has also gone flaky so I was going to delete a load of files but am glad I checked this one!
Overnght a mouse sniffed at a tomato but didn't bother to taste. See how fuzzy this is too - neither of our feeder cams are quite right this season.
Handsome chappie the pheasant
Thank you Scylla for your continued efforts
Makov feeder - housekeeping, then back to normal, then a squirrel spat. I saw the foot activity but decided not to focus on it this time.
LG's own "darker" red squirrel, no ear-tufts sprouting yet:
Wouldn't you like to be able to do this?
These two did not seem to be friends:
Sorry, TREVOR, I must add in my Blue Tit - no-one posed solo, perfectly - so here's a very imperfect pose:
18 October - A little scan thru the Glaslyn day - I did see the pair of Mute Swans but all-too-fleetingly:
A Czech Tufty:
