RUSTY Happy Birthday yesterday.

LYNETTE We did something similar a good few years ago....loved it.

Oh, dear -- dangerous gardening, Annette. Do hope there's no lasting effect.

Rusty -- Happy Birthday for yesterday, glad to hear you enjoyed yourself. How nice to have long phone calls.

Dibnlib -- Sue has only moved about a mile from where she was, in the same village near to us, so it's only another 5 minutes away - about 15 minutes from here. She's moved from the centre of the village (shops, doctors, vets, P Office, bus stops etc) to a retirement complex where its mostly flats, although she's bought one of the few bungalows there. No shops or anything. She does have a bad hip so was worried about the stairs, but hasn't had a full diagnosis as to what can be done about it, yet. We think she's been premature about it.

Going to visit her this morning. Not seen the inside of the property yet. She still drives but we worry about what might happen if she has to give that up.

Dry here, & the sun is trying to come out. Much colder weather predicted for next week, & there are already Christmassy things in the shops!!
