IMAGICAT
KL5(20)m is quite distinctive with three spots on his chest, and at least one on his head.
For the record:
11.40.56 - he landed on the nest
He looked around
top of head pattern
moved a stick
He checked this way
and that
and he left
Is the nest now imprinted?

Better late than never, but I've been faffing.
Lovely to see KL5, see how calm he was, as usual
Faffing, you see?
Little birdies have been on the nest, mainly Chaffies - so well camouflaged! Sample:
How depressing, I just can't tell the difference between Stonechat and Redstart, and maybe this was neither of them...
...and even more depressingly, I think RICHARD has dumped me
There were several little invasions of mainly chaffies up to around noon.
