Oh no, what terrible news, and what a harrowing experience for you, Catlady.
Where to start? I was catching up and got to where TREVOR asked for a clip from the 4th, the day of the 2 fledges. I'd never completed 1C1's, knowing I was so late, but had kept all my clips, so have just compiled the video and uploaded it... came back here to quote Trevor's post and it was gone! I imagine he may have deleted it, in the light of the tragedy - which I didn't know anything about until I gave up investigating the missing post and came here to reply to the final post...
Sorry, I am completely wrecked by this tragic and devastating outcome.
Here is what I had of 1C1's fledge and perfect landing - I'm not sure if it includes the particular incident that Trevor referred to:
From my 04 August collection - this was 1C1 on her fledging day, after 1C2's fledge but before her own:
I'm going to collect myself and see what can/should be done.
Thank you, everyone.

That's lovely thanks scylla. I've no idea how you got that angle and so close up but IC1 looked perky and full of life. How quickly that all changed
Gutted here... can't talk.
