18:34 Maya, who had joined 1H1 on the nest and attempted to take the fish but warned off, now takes it as 1H1 finishes
Maya then flies off leaving 1H1
1H1 screeches as the little tern flies around
18:38 1H1 flies off
the tern then lands and picks up scraps of fish
I have noticed the past few days that 1H1 has been appearing later each morning and every night when I log off I wonder will she be here tomorrow?
So until sunrise - BFN
She is a beauty.. and take a look at those legs when she's waiting for her dad with a fish. I sometimes see her only as a well fed youngster.. but in scenes like this you see how slender she is becoming... a real pretty lady already

Karen W said:Hi Glider, I would have to check back the years for the oldest but 080 back in 2020 comes to mind! Last seen on the nest at 108 days old and sighted in the bay 2 days later at 110 days old. So 1H1 could very well be here for a few days yet! I wonder if anyone does know the oldest chick to set off on their first migration
Thanks Karen, we’ll soon find out if she’ll beat 108/110 days!!
