Thanks for updates Karen and everyone, all so interesting. If 1H2 is off, fly safe sweet girl, catch fish and come back in a couple of years. ️ I didn’t watch the nest closely last year, popped on and off, but do remember Rutland posting about 095 chasing 096 off the nest and wasn’t 096 then treated as an intruder?
1H3 seems to holding her own, still getting fish, just not allowed to eat on the nest!

Very true Alan, they are all old enough to be setting off south also it is not uncommon for them to go off for a few days exploring.
Time will tell if 1H2 has indeed set off
16:05 Maya jumped down from the campost followed by 1H1
33 arrives with a fish which Maya grabbed - not a clear view but looks just to be a piece or very small fish!
Maya keeps hold of the fish and eats. I think she gave 1H1 one bit
16:09 Maya soon finishes the fish - it must of been just a piece
LAM said:Will try to monitor this nest more closely and hopefully we'll get there before they go to see what is happening off nest! Based on last year 33 will feed on perches so if 1H3 and 1H2 are here they will get food. Also there is the beach as the water is so low and Maya will watch over whilst eating on the ground if necessary.
Thanks for response LAM but I am so sorry as I posted the video as for your input not knowing you were in Wales.
Please, please don't stretch yourself monitoring this nest but enjoy Wales - Mrs G is also a very special lady who is now getting on. Enjoy Wales and of course you had mentioned that you were aiming to return to Manton and I hope you do as I know how special this place is to you. I think we will have to get you a helicopter or something LOL
1H1 back on the nest and calling
17:17 Fish!! 33 arrives with a huge fish - 1H1 receives
1H1 mantles and protects her fish - something around bothering her??
goes on for a while and then she stands for a while with the fish
17:26 Wings flap, she is preparing for take off!!
and off she goes
She's strong, lets hope she manages to fly to the shore line with it!
17:32 1H3 has arrived
and calling
1H3 does a little tidying up also biting at the branches
she continues to call - hopefully 33 or even Maya will bring her something soon
edit: 18:00 1H3 flew off
18:13 1H3 has returned and still calling
