1st fish of July 2022 arrived at 07.34. Not too shabby an effort! Headless trout delivered by LJ2 whilst LM6 was off the nest. She soon followed on to collect the fish.
It looks like it was a nice calm morning.
LM6 and the chicks got a couple of feeds off this fish before LJ2 took it away. He returned with what was left at around 10.40.
LJ2 started eating it on the nest. Chick #2 came to see if it could get any and LJ2 gently fed it a few pieces before finishing it off.
Aw thanks Jane, I’ve just spent the last half hour scrolling through the footage to get a shot of X6 and make a comparison between the 2 to decide who is the elder and my conclusion was that it was X6!

14.42 Fish delivery from LJ2. Can’t see any others since cam came back on this morning.
Around 17.09 a sizeable headless fish was brought to the nest by LJ2.

Wednesday 6th July
LM6 chose to sleep on the perch overnight.
07.14 First fish of the day arrives, a very lively one at that. A lot of flapping at LM6 takes it from LJ2.

16.47 next fish delivery that I can see from scroll back. You can see KA9 at the rear fish calling!

17.10 Incoming Fish
LM6 collected the live fish and took it to the other side of the nest. LJ2 did a bit of stick fixing before flying off.

19.57 a small live fish arrives at the nest
LM6 moves in to collect it from LJ2, it’s flapping about.
LM6 manages to hold the fish securely and LJ2 flies off watched by the 3 ospreys on the nest. KA9 closest to LM6.
