Birdies LG DU update.
Thank you so much for trying to contact Patily, Mike. It really is most appreciated. I have no contact details other than an email address so can offer no further suggestions. We can only hope all is in fact well, but the hot weather has made life difficult for her. Love and hugs - if she sees this.
Edited - 12.21 FISH #2 Axel delivered and fled. I think possibly one of the chicks grabbed it initially, but I'm not sure. Asha retrieved the fish after Axel departed and feeding commenced.
From Chat: There was a fish at 11:08 #1 FISH
So the fish above was #2, albeit small - edited to read #2.
14.25 Intruder chips from Sash, and she left in chase
Heard calling again off the nest
Mike B said:At Scylla's prompting I have tried to contact Patily both by telephone and Email. Sadly I have been unable to make contact by either means. Most unusual but I have no idea where to go from here.
Thanks Mike, hopefully we hear from her soon.
14.33.53 #3 FISH
and an intruder, but not seen. Axel went off in chase. Asha called and mantled, watching above, but the intruder didn't come into view.
14.38 she is still looking to the right of the nest intently
14.41 finally she starts to feed the chicks. I can't tell how large or not the fish is.
