Morning ALL
BART: thanks for posting video of 33 and pleased LAM and Jill answered. Yes, intruder call but not really aggressive, half hearted as LAM says and probably why more songlike as you describe.
Also welcome as I think this is the first time I've seen you post here :-)
LAM: Great to see you and that you have made it to Rutland! Also thanks for all the on the spot reports and captures - fantastic. Crikey the water - that is amazing just how low it is. So nice to see the youngsters off cam.
I've got work being carried out just now so will get back on line later. Enjoy your day and talk later :-)
Scrolling back, 1H1 and 1H2 have been on/off the nest and also Maya. No sign as yet of 1H3.
07:56 Maya joins 1H1 and 1H2 waiting on 33 delivering breakfish
08:51 33 now arrives with a fish - 1H2 waiting
1H2 grabs it and warns 33 - it is now hers!!
33 takes off and 1H2 drags the fish over to the edge - she is defensive, perhaps gulls around???
and minute later, 1H2 flies off with the fish
Hope she hangs on to it!!
11:01 Maya arrives and quickly joined by 1H1
11:02 FISH - 33 arrives with another
Maya and 1H1 make a grab for it - 1H1 claims the fish
33 flies off, Maya stands by as 1H1 tucks in
11:05 1H1 flies off with the fish
Maya flies off - ENS
33 has delivered two fish so far, one to 1H2 and 1H1 who have both flown off with them!
11:09 1H3 arrives and fish calling!
1 wonder if 33 will bring her a fish ?? :-)
