After 1H1 flew off with the fish, 1H2 and 1H3 were on and off the nest shouting for fish
11:00 33 arrives with another one for them
quickly taken by 1H3
1H3 tucks in while 1H2 stands by
11:39 1H2 has moved forward - she has been so patient waiting on 1H3 finishing
11:41 still waiting
and then 1H3 takes off with the fish!!!!
poor 1H2
1H2 when joined by a sibling takes off and can be seen diving !!
Video: Blue 1H2(22) dives/attempts to fish @ 11:43 21 July 2022
I wonder if she caught a fish!!!
12:45 Maya has arrived and fish calling along with 1H2
and 33 delivers :-)
1H2 and Maya both make a grab for the fish
1H2 wins and gets tucked in. She appears to be rather hungry
13:05 1H2 then takes off with the fish
All three juveniles have flown off the nest with a fish today!
Poor 33 who will most likely have to fish more should the fish be dropped and good chance given the size of them!
15:10 Maya and 1H1 fish calling and 33 arrives with another fish
Maya wins the fish but 1H1 soon takes it from her
Maya flies off leaving 1H1 tucking in
1H3 stands by calling
and waiting
15:55 1H1 has flown and Maya arrives to pick up the fish and feeds herself.
1H3 calls and Maya slips her the odd bit
1H1 has been on the nest for the last 20 minutes fish calling
I suppose they must learn not to drop the fish!!
1H1 joined by 1H3 - both calling!
They certainly have healthy appetites :-D
18:40 Maya jumps down from the campost
and 33 arrives with another fish which is quickly taken by 1H3
1H3 guards "her" fish from 1H1
and then takes off with it!!
Maya, 1H1 and 1H2 all on the nest, fish calling - crikey, I do feel a little for 33!
as I type, Maya has flown.
I wonder if she has gone fishing to help out ???
