1H1 and 1H3, who is just a natural flyer having made her maiden flight with such ease, have been back on the nest a few times but 1H2 hasn't been back yet
Hopefully she's safe and we see her return soon
14:17 1H2 is on the nest - great to see her safely back
14:31 1H2 is joined by 1H1
14:32 And with no hesitation, 1H2 takes off
and quickly returns landing perfectly
1H2 settles for a moment beside 1H1
and as I type is off again and back.
Great to see such confidence and I suppose now time to use the term juveniles :-)
And two updates from Rutland about the fledges:
Seemingly 1H3 fledged yesterday @ 12:09 and we all missed it !!!
(click on capture to play video)
and today 1H2's fledge
1H3 was eating at the wrong end of the fish this morning, maybe that is the tastier end.
