HAPPY NEW WEEK!
I hope everyone has a joyful week. The Brood X cicadas were screaming today on my patch. About a week ago, I noticed some big holes at the bottom of my trees. Various critters dig holes in my yard, so I didn't think much about it. Since then, I've seen articles about some of last year's Brood X cicadas popping up this year. Apparently, some of the bugs, called "stragglers," decided to sleep in, and they're appearing this year instead of last year. In most cases, it's because our soil didn't warm up to the required 64 degrees Fahrenheit until too late to wake them up in 2021. So, some of the noisy screechers decided to hit their snooze alarm and climb out this year instead!
Ha ha!!
Heather I would love them to move from London but they like the cosmopolitan vibe! They could move away and get a house in a less expensive part of the country and there is always work if you look for it. But my Son's partner is in a well paid job in fashion production and wants to stay in that industry.
When Lily is 3 they will get help with a certain amount of hours being paid for by the government but thats not until next Frebruary. They are both very appreciate of the help I give them and I will not see them cold or hungry.
Life does seem very tough for a lot of people so we musy all pull together and look after those that need help.

We could see ourselves arriving in Bergen the next day, on the camera at the prow of the ship, shown on our TV, and also out of our window. Bergen is the 2nd biggest city there after the capital, Oslo.
(Edit - we had returned North after seeing our last fjord)
First views of the city from the docks, as we ate breakfast.
