All quiet on the Osprey front. Mistle started gently food soliciting, then quiet, then stood up to reveal.........
,, what appeared to be a half eaten rainbow trout! No doubt Scylla will be able to get a much sharper image than me. All this happened about 5:45. It was as stiff as a board. When was that delivered?
Afrer faffing around getting images 1 of them has come back to the nest and is incubating - can't tell which.
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

SCYLLA AND SHEILA did not miss my use of capital letters.
No more fish after the one CC reported @ 16:30 :(((
29 June
Does anyone know any rain dances we can all join in? And, it wasn't really #2's fault (altho s/he had been starting fights and getting the worse of them as usual)... it was the wind that carried the poop to the lens and then spread it out into a "nice" smooth layer.
Reported on Chat - 05:24 FISH - snap not available.
I and another Chatter think there was a fish delivery @ 07:11 - sweet feeding sounds can be heard.
SHEILA shold have fun doing her detailed summary today
(Only joiking, I know you're not on duty, Sheila.)
Well, it's been lovely chatting with y'all but I must tear myself away. See ya later

Well, I rushed to the webcam, eager to satisfy scylla's desire for a snap of the 05.24 fish and any subsequent offerings. But no point! A 10lb salmon could have been delivered and we'd never have known, given how mucky the lens is.
scylla said:unless I get an official telling-off (in which case I'd be so mortified I'd probably disappear altogether).
I join the hoards in being alarmed by even the idea of this disaster. Perish the thought.
[doing a rain dance, no immediate effect]

I am also chanting while doing mine, wrapped in my Canadian quilt of homemade Red Indian design. Don't care what the neighbours can see or hear. Thinking of getting my bongos out.
