All quiet on the Osprey front. Mistle started gently food soliciting, then quiet, then stood up to reveal.........
,, what appeared to be a half eaten rainbow trout! No doubt Scylla will be able to get a much sharper image than me. All this happened about 5:45. It was as stiff as a board. When was that delivered?
Afrer faffing around getting images 1 of them has come back to the nest and is incubating - can't tell which.
Some people think Ospreys are a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that.

Well I'm very happy to be in such an exclusive club, thank you very much. My ears were straining to hear wee cheeps from the eggs but nothing yet I think
Dawn. Mistle is silent but awake to the sound of the cuckoo stuck on repeat. Other birds also present, including Radio Chaffinch. Good night!

09 June get-go - interchanging but no fish yet. It's not up-to-date, tho, there have been changeovers since - I'm so fed up with the sun on the lens.
IMAGICAT
Unseen intruder just as Mistle has taken over - she didn't chip, just mantled but no flapping - there was a shadow on the right briefly, I couldn't see anything else:
Axel brought fistfuls and took over, he's done a lot of incubating this morning:
Mistle is currently incubating, preening her chest a lot - it sounds very windy.
I'm logging off for a while.

Here's a rough video including the small fish and some more egg sightings - I made it Unlisted because it's not interesting to anyone but us

I think you do yourself a disservice Scylla, this is Mistle and Axel hopefully the start of a new LG Dynasty.

Was there movement in that egg at the back? or was it the result of a talon?

Two of them are in here (the vid has been stuck in a log-jam on YouTube), but the next is waiting to be found, I'll have a look now.
