Just as we had hoped, the middle of May proved to be a wonderful time with three successful hatches. Laddie, with his prolific fishing skills, is providing extremely well for his family and NC0’s attentive feeding for all three Osplets, is an absolute joy to watch! Let's hope everything continues to go well.

I've been under the impression that the chicks grow out of it by this age
NC0 flew off @ 05:05 this morning and hasn't yet returned !!! She flew out to our left, couldn't see where she went after that.
IMAGICAT
Good morning all,
Still awaiting breakfish
A large breakfish was delivered at 9am
#2 on the left
I can't find that anymore have been delivered (on scroll back) at time of posting
A very small fish delivery from Laddie at 15:48 - the second fish of the day as far as I can tell.
#1 attempted to take it from NC0
Cam zoomed in. NC0 feeding #2 (hidden behind her) in this pic
The 3rd fish from Laddie (a small, 'live', flapping perch) just before 16:00
The cam had remained on zoom from the last feed
16:07 Laddie brought fish #4 to the nest (another small perch) after NC0 had finished feeding the chicks from the previous one. Mantling and chipping from both NC0 and Laddie
Flapping from Laddie
Chipping/alarm calling
Laddie flew off and headed to the left.
Chipping could be heard in the distance
NC0 fed the chicks

I was just checking to see how long NC0 was away - 53 minutes! One of the chicks wasn't pleased and she nearly got some from the other one, too. I don't know which is which but was going to say it was #1 who was nasty.
Nothing dramatic, just a little incident
