Just as we had hoped, the middle of May proved to be a wonderful time with three successful hatches. Laddie, with his prolific fishing skills, is providing extremely well for his family and NC0’s attentive feeding for all three Osplets, is an absolute joy to watch! Let's hope everything continues to go well.

Scuse me for digressing you all, but I was just looking for a better snap of Laddie's 04:30 "monster" (failed to find one) when I happened upon an unfamiliar critter's voice - ID, anyone?
IMAGICAT
I heard that 'critter's voice' last season too. No idea what it was then or now, Scylla. I hope someone can ID it.
Morning all,
A 'live' fish was delivered at 5:10ish
NC0 put her talons on the fish before Laddie released his.
Laddie chipped before flying off towards the birch area

I think possibly a deer, Scylla?
A second fish (small), was delivered by Laddie just before 11:30
Part-way through the feed, #1 closest to the cam

I had though a goose but I think you are probably right there Sandra and it is a deer.
Fish #3 was brought to the nest at 13:23ish
#1 on the left, #2
#4 from Laddie at 13:47ish
The feed was briefly interrupted by an unseen intruder - distant chipping, I assume from Laddie, could be heard
#1, on the left, #2
Fish #5 was delivered at 15:03ish
