Just as we had hoped, the middle of May proved to be a wonderful time with three successful hatches. Laddie, with his prolific fishing skills, is providing extremely well for his family and NC0’s attentive feeding for all three Osplets, is an absolute joy to watch! Let's hope everything continues to go well.

18:27 The cam zoomed in on the chicks
Edit: I'm pretty certain this was chick #1 that was getting focused on
Yep, agree with that, Glider! lol Laddie brought a flapping fish to the nest at 20:11. NC0 was quick to grab and take hold of it as Laddie did the handover
Laddie left the nest pretty smartish
He swerved around to the right and landed in one of the trees behind the nest
About to land in the tree to the right of him
Cam zoomed in. NC0 feeding #2
#3
#1 did eventually get a look in!
20:59 Laddie returned to the nest
He appeared to be looking for any remaining fish
He picked up a couple of small dropped pieces
Then stood on a stick at the back of the nest
He left after looking around his domain
Another flight behind the nest to land in one of the trees
21:21 Another fish!
Laddie incoming
He flew behind the cam to land on the right side of the nest
He headed of and flew around, once again, to land in the tree behind the nest
All three chicks up for a feed
Three very full chicks by the time the fish was all gone at 21:33
Glider said:Those close ups are spectacular Sandra.
Aren't they just, Glider!
Gosh, was it that many? I lost count! lol Laddie's done spectacularly well today. I wonder if Karen witnessed any dives?
