Just as we had hoped, the middle of May proved to be a wonderful time with three successful hatches. Laddie, with his prolific fishing skills, is providing extremely well for his family and NC0’s attentive feeding for all three Osplets, is an absolute joy to watch! Let's hope everything continues to go well.

13:26 Another fish from Laddie, a definite whole one
L-R #2, #1, #3
#1 and #3 received multiple bites being in the best position. #2 waddled round to the other side of #3 and was able to join in with the feed

The third fish of the day from Laddie (excluding the returned one at dawn) at 15:40
#3 may have been at the back of the queue but NC0 always finds a way to give it some fish!
#3 moved itself to a better feeding position part way through the feed. The line up is in age order from L-R
The fish was all gone by 15:51
Scene at 16:22
Laddie (I knew who you meant) and NC0 are doing an exceptional job, Patily.
Another whole fish from him at 17:55
Not much chance to see who got what for this feed
NC0 finishing at 17:10ish. #2 left, #1 and #3's little bottom can be seen to NC0's left
17:50 The weather has changed. All three chicks are almost fully under NC0
18:26 Yet another fish...you're a star Laddie!
Off to have my dinner now. BFN
That fish lasted for about 7 minutes!
NC0 tearing one of the last pieces off to feed #1 who was closest to her. I think we can say that #3 ate well!
NC0 swallowing the remainder of the fish
19:14 I can't believe this Osprey...Laddie with a fish again! Hard to tell if it was headless or not.
A beautiful flight away which saw him passing over the trees at the back of the nest
I do hope Laddie has eaten well for himself today!
